Workshops and Activities
I have a wide variety of classes that I teach. Most are of a short duration and can be done in 2 hours, give or take. I have a box of samples of all of the classes I have ever taught that are fun to look through, and great to start a discussion about what kind of class you need and what would be appropriate to teach for your class. I can also create a new design that is oriented around a theme. Perhaps you are learning about turtles? I can create a turtle key chain. I am also comfortable designing a new class that is tailored to your needs. In general, I show up 15-30 mins early to set up, and bring all of the tools and materials to be used in class. I keep it as simple as possible for both students and teacher. I currently have enough tools for about 12 students, but students can share tools, and I can purchase more if a larger group is needed. Sometimes tools are not even needed for a simple class. I always have key chains and metal book marks on hand for any students that prefer to make a non-jewellery item, so the workshops can all be made gender-neutral. I can teach ages 5-19. I am a patient and calm teacher, and enjoy working with children and passing on my love of creating. I am also willing to travel.
