I am a professional visual artist with over 35 years of experience both making and teaching art. During this time I have explored many forms of artistic expression including painting, sculptural installation, fibre arts and paper-making as well as collage and monoprint/painting. I have also worked extensively teaching in northern artist-in-the-school programmes, after school art clubs and developing and teaching private art classes for children of all ages. In 2002 I received a Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee medal in recognition of my active participation in arts education over many years in northern Canada.
