Workshops and Activities
*I'm unavailable for the 2018-2019 academic year.* A focus of my practice is Building Community Through Art, and that extends to my workshops. I find using art to build community within the class, the school, between schools, or reaching out to the community at large is such fun, and an effective way to share messages, concerns, voice opinions etc. I am interested in creating temporary or permanent installations with the students, making games to be kept in the classroom, and creating art which is delivered anonymously to the public. Working with young people, in particular teens or at risk youth over multiple sessions works best, as that gives us all time to get to know and trust each other. When the trust comes, people let go and amazing things happens!
